The third Craftshop Quest is “Profit!”. Since your Craftshop makes items that you need around the farm, you will get the ball rolling by fulfilling some Work Orders (Ask your friends for items). You’ll also be planting and harvesting Soybeans- remember them?! Finally, you will need to make the Pine Fence recipe in your Craftshop building to complete this quest.

Objectives:

• 1. Get 6 Work Orders (Ask Friends).
• 2. Harvest 100 Soybeans crops on your farm.
• 3. Make the Pince Fence Recipe in your Craftshop (x1).

Following the first Craftshop quest is Quest 2 “The Friendly Bushel”. You will need to complete three tasks such as harvesting Wheat on your farm, making Fuel, and visiting neighbors to earn some special rewards.

Objectives:

• 1. Harvest 100 Wheat.
• 2. Craft 1 Can of Fuel in your Craftshop.
• 3. Visit  6 neighbors.

Earlier today the Craftshop’s functionality finally went live (again) and besides new recipes to master, there is something else to keep you busy- new Craftshop themed quests!

The first Craftshop Quest 1 has you completing a few tasks to earn some cool rewards.

Objectives:

• 1. Complete 1 Craftshop.
• 2. Get 6 pieces of Hardwood.
• 3. Get 6 Bushels from friends.

In tonight’s updates FarmVille has added several new Limited Edition Valentine’s Day themed animals including a Pink Gypsy Horse and Red Heart Chicken to the FarmVille Market.

The Pink Gypsy Horse can be placed into your FarmVille Horse Stable for a chance at producing a Pink Gypsy Foal. Remember the only way to get your own Pink Gypsy Foal is to adopt one by clicking on a link shared by one of your FarmVille neighbors via your Facebook news feed.

Earlier today we saw that FarmVille Freaks were cracking open their Mystery Eggs and finding this new chicken. Now, the FarmVille Market has added the Red Heart Chicken as a Farm Cash direct purchase as well. So you can either purchase your Red Heart Chicken with Farm Cash or try your luck at finding one as a prize in Treasured Golden Mystery Eggs.

Both of these animals can be purchased in the FarmVill Market until February 24, 2011.

The Lunar New Year themed Red Pagoda and New Year Rabbit were seen in the FarmVille Market for a few lucky FarmVille Freaks.

Since then, the items have disappeared from the Market, but perhaps they will be coming out very soon for a longer stay.

From the images below it looks like the FarmVille New Year Rabbit will cost 200,000 Farm Coins and the Red Pagoda 40,000 Farm Coins.

FarmVille Model Farm Updated to Valentine’s Day Theme!

Most of you may remember a new feature that is slowly being introduced across farms – The Model Farm!

You may remember Lexilicious mentioning this feature in the January 24th, 2011 Podcast. As we know, the Model Farm features all the Limited Edition items; some items from the past, some that are currently in the FarmVille Market & some that are coming soon.

The Model Farm, that used to display Winter Holiday Themed items has now been updated to showcase new Valentine’s Day Themed items! You will recognize items such as the Cupid’s Castle, Giant Bubble Gum Trees and the the latest favorite – The Valentine Mini Horse!

Two new Limited Edition Valentine’s Day pink and hearts themed animals including a Valentine Cow and Valentine Duck debuted in FarmVille tonight.The FarmVille Valentine Cow can produce an adorable Valentine Calf when placed in the Dairy Farm. You can adopt a Valentine Calf via the Facebook news feed from neighbors who share their links. This is the only way to get one as it is not available for sale in the market.
These animals can be purchased in the FarmVille Market with Farm Cash during the next 12 days only and they will expire from the market on February 7, 2011.
