Zynga Teams with Capital One for FarmVille, CityVille, & Pioneer Trail Promotion

Zynga is once again teaming up with Capital One to offer in-game promotions across three of Zynga’s most popular games including FarmVille, CityVille, and Pioneer Trail. Capital One is no stranger to FarmVille, as there have been several past promotions that offered FarmVille Freaks some fun freebies. Remember the Visigothinvasion of FarmVille? Here’s a few sneak peaks of what we can expect with this upcoming soon-to-be released Capital One promotion that should be going live later tonight!
Capital One in FarmVille
In FarmVille, we will see several in-game incentives as well as an opportunity to interact with the Capital One Goat from Capital One’s commercials. There will be a Capital One FarmVille Farm for players to visit, free gifts such as Animal Instant Grow and even a free Limited Edition Capital One Goat animal which also happens to be breedable!
Capital One in CityVille 
In CityVille, players will be able to place the very first of its kind Capital One branded bank in their city. Rewards of XP and Energy are also in the works.
Capital One in Pioneer Trail 
In Pioneer Trail players can participate in new Capital One themed quests which focus on helping the Capital One Goat find his lost band mates. There will be Capital One branded rewards for completing the quests such as a Limited Edition Capital One Goat.
This is the first time ever that a branded promotion has simultaneously spanned across three different Zynga games. Executive Vice President of Digital Strategy at Capital One says of the partnership,

“The explosion of social gaming offers a great way to engage consumers with our Brand. Re-teaming with Zynga allows us to build on our previous success with FarmVille and branch out to CityVille andThe Pioneer Trail. It is a natural next step and offers a unique way to feature the Capital One Goat character that is growing in popularity and generating support in social channels.”

Zynga Chief Marketing and Revenue Officer, Jeff Karp, continues on about Zynga partnerships saying,

“We look for iconic brands that enhance the in-game experience and deliver value to our players, and Capital One a brand that many of our players know, recognize, and use every day. This marks the first time a company is offering in-game brand engagements across multiple Zynga studios at the same time”.

As with other promotions, Capital One will be directing players to visit their Facebook Fan Page which can be located at: www.facebook.com/capitalone.
