Sheep Breeding premiered, FarmVille Updates fast and furiously bred sheep only to discover that we are only allowed 100 bred sheep on our farms.

For those of us who have hit the 100 limit and continue to breed more sheep (who can quit? it’s so addictive!) we are forced to sell sheep that we have spent time and precious Love Potions to breed. Now, while this is painful, there is more painful news to report:
Many FarmVille Updates are reporting that their bred sheep on farm limit is fluid rather at the fixed 100 amount the in-game pop up tells us it is.
So in other words, famers are receiving the “Sorry Farmer! You can have 100 bred sheeps on your farm.” pop up when they have less than 100 sheep. For example, I have 89 bred sheep on my farm and receive the pop up, to breed another sheep I must sell one. The rumor is that the sheep we give up for adoption are counting against our 100 limit for a certain period of time, although we can’t be certain.
Farmers have reached out to Zynga Customer Support about the issue and were told that it was an unknown issue and they would look into it. So at this point no one can be certain if this is a glitch or an intended part of sheep breeding. If it is intentional, we that just stinks! Farmers love to help their neighbors create new and fun sheep by breeding one of their best to put up for adoption, like Flasher Sheep! It would really stink if giving up for adoption lowers our own bred sheep limit.
Currently farmers can only adopt one sheep per day, but are able to give as many as they like up for adoption.
fix it, why can i hold 1000 belted cows and only 100 sheep, it is not fair.

I sent a message about this issue, have 84 sheep and get the stupid pop up.
As answer from zynga they were looking into this as there were more complaints.
Hope they will do something about this as I am an addicted sheepbreeder and also share with my neighbours
This is true I was in such a hurry to sell 3 sheep so I could breed the next 3 that I SOLD my Sheep Pen with my 40 favorite rare sheep by accident!! :-(
I contacted Zynga and got a RARE quick response. in that they told me they could not help me, however they did give me 30 Love Potions to assist me in breeding new sheep.
So take your time farmers!!
@Karl that's bullshit, they could have put it back - they deleted my pub (confusion over trying to get coins back for buying it when I didn't realise you got one in-game) but after repeated complaints they put it back, with the 2nd level upgrade and all recipes at the level I had put work into. So they CAN restore things to the way they were, you just have to bug customer support over it. If one admin won't help, try making a new support request to get someone else a little more persuasive ;) Losing 40 sheep you bred is noway near equivalent to 30 potions (that's only 6 sheep!!) let alone all the wasted time, rebuilding the pen, etc. etc. Good luck with chasing them on this one!
